ARELIS Broadcast has been awarded a contract with Bangladesh BETAR, the Bangladeshi national radio network, to supply a 1000 kW MW AM Transmitter in an effort to reinforce communication frequencies throughout the country.
Winner of the international tender offer launched in late 2O17, ARELIS Broadcast has signed a contract for the delivery and installation of S7HP NEO solution, including commissioning, antenna refurbishing and technical staff’s training.
“The competition was fierce at a certain point, but we were confident in our expertise and product’s quality. We were capable of offering a complete solution package, which ultimately led to BETAR’s final decision. We look forward to begin work on the project with BETAR, says Pascal Veillat, ARELIS Broadcast CEO. We are proud to reinforce our long-standing relationship with Bangladesh BETAR through this latest installation for better broadcasting for the Bangladesh of tomorrow.”
BETAR currently already operates on a range of Thomson Broadcast shortwave and medium-wave transmitters, including S7HP supplied in 2009 for domestic and national coverage.
